This is an easy tweak on the classic recipe. A few changes make such a difference in this dish – but the taste is truly just as sinful as if it was the same guilty sports bar treat. I use nice-sized skinless drumsticks only since wings are mostly skin and little meat. And everyone always fights for the few drumsticks in the basket; this is all drumstick!
Ingredients
Skinless drumsticks (1 large package) – I like Murray’s Free Range, Skinless, Organic
Frank’s Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Light w/ no trans fats (ICBINB)
Salt and Pepper
Garlic Powder
To Prepare
Season chicken legs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Broil on flat pan.
Melt 2 TBSP ICBINB in a large tupperware dish in the microwave
Add 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot to melted ICINB.
Add salt and pepper to taste
With tongs, place chicken drumsticks in the tupperware dish.
Cover tightly with matching tupperware lid.
Shake bowl vigorously, turning upside down to completely coat chicken.
Serve with celery sticks and yogurt sauce.
